International Services (Available Soon)
Internet Domainian’s International Services Infrastructure is a basic consumption-based Azure API Management solution suitable to host Azure consumption-based services worldwide. This infrastructure provides a similar experience to the Premium tiers of Azure API Management Service at the cost of the Azure API Management Service developer tier.
Upgradable
Internet Domainian's International Services Infrastructure is built with only Azure Services. There are no third-party or otherwise proprietary tools in the infrastructure. That means as your organization grows you can upgrade various services from consumption tiers to higher tiers when the higher tier is necessary or becomes cost effective.
Multiple Use Cases
Our International Services is appropriate for startups and small businesses who need a performant global presence but do not want to make a huge initial investment in their API Services. Our infrastructure can support any Azure consumption-based service which can be managed through the Azure API Management service.
Geo-Distributed
International Services provides an API Management Service in any region you want to be in. All of the services are wrapped by Azure Front Door which provides Geo-Distributed Load Balancing.
Consumption Billing
The base cost of International Services is under $200. That is for a few basic services which have a fixed monthly rate. All other costs are billed by consumption. There is no need to make a large investment before you have users. Your costs will scale with usage.
Low Latency
International Services with consumption tiers are deployable in every region with no additional expense. Therefore, regardless of where you are in the world there is always a service near your clients.
Azure Backed SLA
Because International Services are built using only Azure services with an SLA the entire infrastructure comes with a enforceable calculated Azure SLA.
24/7 Uptime
The base cost of our International Servies is under $200 a month. There is no need to degrade or shutdown services in regions during low demand in order to save money. You will always be at full capacity.
Always Available
Because International Services are replicated across all regions without additional expense your services are always available. If one region goes down Azure Front Door will automatically re-rout traffic to the next closest region. Your clients will always be able to reach your APIs.
This is all accomplished by deploying one or more instances of the APIM Developer tier to your home regions. Then by deploying instances of the Azure APIM Consumption tier to any Azure regions where you would like to host your APIs. In addition, tooling, in the form of Logic Apps, is provided to manage subscriptions to your APIs. Routing of your API calls are handled through Azure Front Door.
Nearly all the services used have no upfront costs. One environment (the entire infrastructure to any number of regions) can be deployed and maintained for less than $200 a month as compared to the many thousands you pay for the APIM premium tier. You will have to pay additional fees for each additional instance of the APIM developer tier. For example, if you would like to provide a developer portal in multiple languages or provide low latency connectivity to the developer portal. But you do not have to pay additional fees for each region where you want to host your APIs.
This infrastructure is suitable for startups and small businesses who are financially frugal but still want their APIs to be performant globally. From this infrastructure you can add any services with a consumption tier behind the API Management Services including most Azure AI services. Using well-built pipelines, you can deploy any of your products and services into every Azure region as easily as you would in a single region. As your demand increases you can upgrade your existing infrastructure to higher tiers that are not consumption based but provide additional enterprise features and are more cost effective with higher usage.
